Tiffany Cox ‘07 is fast becoming a household name. If you don’t know her from her time at Catawba, you may recognize her from shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Reasonable Doubt. She is a successful actor, writer, director, and producer. And it started at Catawba College.

Save the Date! Plan to join us for Homecoming October 26-29.

President David P. Nelson will start things off with special remarks – Quo Vadis Catawba? in Omwake-Dearborn Chapel on Thursday. Friday will feature the annual golf scramble and Blue Masque Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Saturday will feature alumni classes, the alumni awards ceremony, tailgates, football game, and an 80’s concert. Sunday we will hold the installation of our Chaplain, The Rev. Kendra Joyner-Smith. Throughout the weekend there will be a variety of special class reunion events.

We can’t wait to see you on campus October 26-29!

    Betty Stansbury Lomax had a heartfelt connection to Catawba College and its students. She was Assistant Professor of Physical Education at Catawba for 17 years, from 1960 to 1977.

Athletic Highlights

Women’s Swimming GPA Top in Nation in DII

Catawba Women’s Swimming earned the highest team GPA of all Division II swimming programs for the Spring 2023 semester, with a team GPA of 3.85, continuing their hold on that spot from the Fall of 2022 when they topped the rankings with a team GPA of 3.77. The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America announces the rankings each semester.

Alexis Devlin named to NCAA DII Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Alexis Devlin, a politics major from Orlando, FL and member of Catawba’s Track & Field team, has been selected to serve as the South Atlantic Conference representative of the NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

MeKayla White, Samantha Payne, & Barja Walter earn All-American Honors

Catawba Track & Field athletes took to the national stage to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
