Broadway Cares: An AIDS BenefitAlpha Psi Omega, Catawba College's Theatre Arts Honors Society, is sponsoring a service project, Broadway Cares: An AIDS Benefit, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29 in Peeler Crystal Lounge of the Robertson College-Community Center on campus.
 
The event is a musical review of Broadway tunes, a few mainstream melodies, and original pieces by the College's students. Attendees are asked to pay what they can. Baked goods will be sold for $2 and AIDS Ribbons will be sold for $1 and donations for the entirety of the evening will be accepted with all proceeds going to the Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS Organization.
 
Performers include: Nicole Bowles, Meggie Bumgarner, Devon Currie, Jordan Ellis, Ashleigh Herndon, Daniel Hines, Mike Innis, Sara Johnson, Sonny Kong, Michael Lasris, Yolanda McClure, Candace Neal, Matt Patrick, Sheldon Rogers, Jessica Taige, and Emily Wonderly.
