Bryan Jordan, president and chief executive officer of First Horizon National Corporation in Memphis, Tenn., will be the seventh keynote speaker to participate in the Ralph W. Ketner School of Business' Distinguished CEO Lecture Series at Catawba College on Tuesday, April 12.
Jordan, a 1984 Catawba College alumnus and Salisbury native, will offer remarks entitled "Be Fast, Be Nimble" beginning at 11 a.m. on April 12 in Hedrick Little Theatre of the Robertson College-Community Center on campus.

A question and answer period will follow Jordan's lecture, and a reception will be offered in Peeler Crystal Lounge at the conclusion of the event.
Jordan has 24 years of financial services industry experience and had previously served as First Horizon's chief financial officer before moving into his current role as president and chief executive officer. Before joining First Horizon, he served as chief financial officer at Regions Financial Corp. His experience also includes positions at Wachovia (formerly First Union Corp.) and KPMG.
In 2011, Jordan was reappointed to the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve. He serves on the boards of Youth Villages and Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and on the Community Advisory Board of Baptist Hospital. He is co-chair of the Tennessee CEOs Against Cancer Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
He earned his baccalaureate degree in finance and accounting from Catawba and currently serves on the college's board of trustees. Jordan and wife Kim are parents of three children.

Jordan's remarks at Catawba mark the seventh such event in the Distinguished CEO Lecture Series.
