Catawba sincerely thanks all of the donors and the 150+ patrons of the August 8th Silent Auction event, which proved to be the most successful Silent Auction that Catawba Athletics has held to date.

"The success of any event comes from those directly involved with that particular event," said Senior Assistant Director of Athletics, Craig Turnbull. "I cannot use enough words to describe or thank my committee members, as well as Chartwells and their staff for all of their hours of work and their commitment to helping raise funds for Catawba Athletics. I am certain the over 400 student-athletes competing on 18 varsity sports at Catawba College also appreciate all that has been done on their behalf.

Personally, I was excited to see so many familiar faces in the crowd, but also very excited to meet many people that had never attended one of our Silent Auctions in years past. It was great speaking with them about the College and answering their questions about Catawba Athletics.  Events such as these are a great place to catch up with old friends, but equally exciting to me is to be able to include some new friends into our Catawba College community."
