Thirty-five students, all recipients of Ralph W. Ketner Scholarships, joined donors Ralph and Anne Ketner for an October 10th luncheon at Catawba College. Mr. Ketner, co-founder and chairman emeritus of Food Lion, Inc., and his wife established the scholarships at the College to assist deserving local students with the cost of their education.

Ralph W. Ketner Scholars from Salisbury include Charlie Aldridge, Timothy Ayscue, Andrew Branning, Jason Chapman, Justin Dionne, Henry Fairley, Lauren Flynn, Stacy Suggs Frick, Daniel K. Griffith, Samuel Ketner, Michael Moore, Kelly Munday, Theresa Owens, Leslie Robertson, Blake Scearce, Raiza Toledo, Alexsandra Turchin, Candance Weathers, Ashley Wells and Aaron Young.

Scholars from China Grove included Rebecca Helms.

Scholars from Kannapolis include Angela Bailey, Ryan Dayvault and Edward Scott Moyer.
