Members of Catawba College's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), a national business fraternity, toured the "financial district" in Uptown Charlotte led by local media personality and 1977 Catawba alumnus Joey Popp on October 19.

Popp, a long-term friend of the Ketner School of Business, discussed living and working in Charlotte, a city known for the banking and the financial services industry. Popp is a free-lance journalist and on-air personality, currently hosting "Health Wise" on Charlotte's PBS affiliate. He also volunteers his time as a member of the Ketner School of Business' Business Advisory Board.

PBL membership is open to all Catawba College students. Historically, the fraternity sponsors activities that promote professional development and service.
