Jeremiah Nelson, Catawba College assistant professor of management, was quoted in a recent article by Moneygeek.com about The Best Business Credit Cards of 2021 written by Kim Porter.

“If a small business owner has the liquidity to pay off their credit cards each month, choosing a credit card with benefits that align with the needs of the business is a no-brainer,” suggested Nelson in the article.  “If your business requires travel, taking advantage of travel rewards is ideal. There are a full variety of benefits and rewards that business owners can explore when selecting a credit card to use for their business. The good news is that there are also many great websites that can help them research and compare terms and benefits to pick the right card for their business.”

Nelson joined Catawba College in August. He teaches and researches aspects of strategic management, entrepreneurship, and innovation leadership and has over 20 years of academic leadership experience. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Central Connecticut State University, his second master’s in HR Management from Western Carolina University, and his doctorate in Leadership Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
