Renewal forms for Chiefs Club members have been mailed. 2011-12 Chiefs President Bob Setzer is expecting an increase in membership from last year. 2010-2011 membership stood at 451 after four consecutive years over 500.

Setzer said "with a very attractive five game home football schedule including UNC Pembroke and our economy showing signs of improvement, we look for new members and we hope our former ones renew as well."

Being a member of the Chiefs Club provides you the satisfaction of supporting all the student athletes at Catawba. Not only is membership a great bargain, a day of tailgating with family and friends at Shuford Stadium is a day of fun. Setzer went on to say, "there are lots of good seats available in the Chiefs Sections and season ticket prices remain at only $50."

Membership entitles you to the use of all athletic facilities and athleticEvents including Goodman Gym (basketball), Johnson Tennis Complex, Johnson Indoor Swimming Pool, Frock Fields (soccer, softball), Shuford Stadium (running /walking track)  and Meyer Gym (racquetball).

You will also receive invitations to participate in the annual Sports Hall of Fame weekend including a golf tournament and attend other specialEvents throughout the year. These include the pre-football game Tribal Treats meal and half time snacks in the Chiefs Room during basketball season.

To learn more about becoming a member or if you wish to upgrade your membership and improve your seat location, call Gordon Kirkland in the Catawba College Development Office at (704) 637-4394 or e-mail Gordon at gakirkla@catawba.edu.
