The Catawba men’s and women’s swimming teams have earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the spring semester of 2015.  To receive the honor, teams must have a combined 3.0 GPA for the semester for all members of the team.

The Catawba men’s team posted the highest GPA among all levels of NCAA with a combined 3.68 GPA.  All eight members of the team earned a 3.4 GPA or higher last semester.  Yale had the highest GPA among NCAA I schools at 3.57, while MIT led Division III at 3.56.

The Catawba women achieved a 3.41 GPA.  Six of the 10 women’s swimmers posted a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
