On Sunday, April 28th at 4:00 p.m. in Omwake-Dearborn Chapel on the campus of Catawba College, "Our Song VI" will be presented.

"Our Song VI" will be the final choral concert of the 2018-2019 academic year. This concert is unlike any of the other concerts presented during the calendar year because the music performed is chosen by the choir members themselves. Many of the pieces to be performed have been arranged by the students themselves. Additionally, the concert will feature student directors who have chosen and rehearsed the music for the program.

The hour-long concert will feature music drawn from a wide variety of styles highlighting many of Catawba's multi-talented vocalists and instrumentalists.

Choirs featured on the program will be the Catawba Singers, the Catawba Chamber Choir, and the Catawba PopAC Choir.

The Catawba Choirs are under the direction of Dr. Phillip E. Burgess, Associate Chair of Music and Director of Choral/Vocal Studies.

Mr. Jacob Hahn and Ms. Susan Trivette accompany the various ensembles.

As always, this concluding choral program is free and open to the public.
