The North Carolina Research Campus has named Catawba College alumnus Chris Ervin '83 as its new director of business development.
Ervin is responsible for helping identify technologies best suited for targeted outreach to industry, bringing extensive experience for creating pathways from research to commercialization to benefit both the campus and the community.
Ervin has 30 years of business management experience, which includes serving as UNC Charlotte's director of entrepreneurship and holding multiple positions at Duke Energy.
Ervin graduated from Catawba College with degrees in accounting and computer science.
