Our annual Blue-White Weekend is scheduled for Friday night, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th, 2009. Ladies Night starts off the weekend at 7:00pm with Corey Fischer and his most capable Chartwells Food Service staff. They will man four stations   around the Michael Meeting Room. Each will be 15 minutes in length and will feature recipe and presentation ideas as well as sampling at each station.

The second portion of our Ladies Night will feature Head Football Coach Chip Hester as he previews what to expect from the squad for next fall. We will have several players from the team there to answer your questions. The player Q&A was a highlight last year and should be again this year. Cost for Ladies Night is again $5 per person and you may pay as you enter. Reservations are needed and you should call (704) 637-4394 and confirm your attendance with the Catawba College Development Office. You may also register via e-mail at gakirkla@catawba.edu.

Saturday, April 4th at 11:00am in Shuford Stadium will be  your chance to get a first hand look at the 2009 version of the Catawba  Indians in the annual Blue versus White Spring game. The team is working hard in the weight room now to get ready for what promises to be a strong team. Plans call for the game to end around 12:30pm. You are invited to join us for lunch immediately upon the conclusion of the scrimmage in the Meyer Gymnasium, in the lower section of Goodman Gymnasium. Cost for the lunch is $10 per person and Coach Hester will be there to talk about the game we just saw and how he feels about the 2009 season. Again, reservations are required for the lunch ($10 per person) and can be made by calling the Development Office at (704) 637-4394 or by e-mailing gakirkla@catawba.edu.

We hope many of you will make the effort to attend bothEvents as this weekend continues to be a very popular one on the Catawba College calendar each year.
