’86 Alumnus Tapped to Chair Old Fort Banking Co. and Gillmor Financial Services

Catawba College 1986 alumnus Michael C. Spragg of Findley, Ohio, president and chief executive officer of The Old Fort Banking Co., will become chairman of Old Fort Banking Co. and Gillmor Financial Services in April.  Spragg will succeed Dianne Gillmor Krumsee who is retiring following the annual meeting of shareholders on April 13.

Spragg, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Catawba, and a master’s degree in business administration, finance, from the University of Findlay, has over 28 years of experience in the banking industry.  He joined Old Fort in 2007 as the bank’s president and chief executive officer.  He was named president and chief executive officer at Gillmore Financial Services in 2010.

Old Fort Banking Co. is an employee-owned independent bank founded in 1916 in the village of Old Fort.  It has operations in Bettsville, Clyde, Findlay, Fostoria, Fremont, Lima, Old Fort, Sugarcreek, Tiffin, and Xenia, Ohio.
