Library Services for Staff Members

The Catawba College Library offers a variety of services for Catawba staff members.

Students in Library Collaboration Space

Catawba staff members have a variety of resources services available in the library. To research and browse, we house multiple computer stations on the main floor and Mezzanine, and the bulk of our collection in the lower level. We also offer various research guides, divided by subject to help get started on research projects. Our reference librarians are also available to assist by appointment.

For assistance browsing our collection, finding a course reserve item, or for any other information about the library, our Help Desk staff are here to help. If the library doesn’t hold an item a staff member needs, we’ll be happy to assist in requesting that item through interlibrary loan.

Study Spaces
The library has five study rooms, as well as multiple study nooks, available for use throughout the building.  All are on a first-come, first-serve basis, except for the Writing Center and rooms reserved for study groups or other special requests. Please check for a reserved sign on the door before entering.

Students have priority over other Catawba community members.

We also house eight computer stations in our information commons area, eight computers on the Mezzanine, and multiple study nooks on all floors.
