Kee succeeds Carolyn Peeler ’68, director of development, who retired in September 2025 following a distinguished career in advancement at Catawba.
As director of donor engagement, Kee will oversee stewardship strategies, scholarship and endowment engagement, and collaborative efforts that connect donors with the meaningful outcomes of their generosity. Her work will support Catawba’s commitment to honoring donor intent and aligning philanthropy with the College’s mission and priorities.
“We are excited to welcome Allison to this role,” said Mindy Miller, associate vice president of development. “She brings a strong understanding of Catawba, meaningful experience in admissions and scholarship support, and a deep appreciation for the ways donor engagement and student success are connected. Allison is well prepared to build relationships that strengthen our advancement efforts and help further the work of the College.”
Kee brings significant experience in higher education admissions, scholarship administration, and financial aid collaboration. Most recently, she served as associate director of admissions at the University of Mount Olive, where she managed the administration of an endowed scholarship fund, expanded access to scholarship opportunities, and worked closely with enrollment and financial aid teams to support student success.
Her professional background also includes previous roles at Catawba College, including associate director of admissions and a financial aid internship. Through that work, she gained firsthand experience with donor-funded scholarships, institutional systems, and cross-campus collaboration in support of enrollment and advancement goals.
Kee is pursuing a Doctor of Education in higher education leadership and management and holds a master’s degree in student affairs. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to relationship-building, thoughtful stewardship, and student-centered outcomes.
Her appointment reflects Catawba College’s continued investment in stewardship and donor engagement as part of Where Our Good Goes, the College’s comprehensive campaign to expand opportunity, strengthen community, and advance its mission for generations to come.
