Catawba College Student Awarded Prestigious NCCPA Foundation Scholarship

The Ralph W. Ketner School of Business at Catawba College is pleased to announce accounting major and senior Gabriella Moll has been selected by the North Carolina CPA Foundation to receive a highly competitive $2,000 scholarship. This award recognizes her outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to pursuing a career in the accounting profession. 

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Gabriella graduated from St Stithians Girls' College before coming to Catawba College, where she is also an accomplished member of the Catawba College Swim Team. Her strong work ethic, discipline, and dedication to excellence are consistently evident both in her academic work and her athletic pursuits. 

Each year, the NCCPA Foundation awards scholarships to promising accounting students across the state. Gabriella Moll’s application distinguished itself during several rounds of evaluation by Foundation reviewers and the Board of Directors.

Dr. Yan Gibson, Associate Professor in the Ketner School of Business, expressed deep pride in Gabi’s accomplishments, stating, “I am very proud of Gabi’s growth during the past several years I have known her.”
