Michael Frederick

Michael, a 2005 graduate of Catawba College and former student-athlete, has held various student service roles in higher education, after earning a Master of Arts in Higher Education. He is currently working on a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Higher Education Administration. When he is not working, he enjoys fishing, reading, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

As the Director of Internships and Career Planning, Michael assist students with:

• Career planning and referrals in the career development process, including resumes/cover letters/personal statements, interviewing, networking, branding, social media, etc.
• Connecting employers and students through interviews, mock interviews, speakers, etc.
• Planning and implementing job fairs and on-campus recruiting events
