
Join us for a lively panel discussion entitled "Navigating Turbulent Times in Policy, Politics, and the Environment" with Heather White, Dr. Michael Bitzer, and Dr. Lee Ball on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 302 of the Center for the Environment.
Heather White is an author and founder of One Green Thing. A national speaker and consultant, she's the author of 60 Days to a Greener Life: Ease Eco-Anxiety Through Joyful Daily Action and One Green Thing: Discover Your Hidden Power to Help Save the Planet. She is a nationally recognized conservation and environmental policy expert and a frequent spokesperson in national media on climate, energy, and conservation issues. She has been featured on Good Morning America and NBC News Now and quoted in the New York Times, the Guardian, and Teen Vogue.
Dr. Michael Bitzer is Chair of the Department of Politics and Professor of Politics and History.
Dr. Lee Ball, Executive Director of the Center for the Environment and Vice President of Sustainability, will be the moderator for the panel discussion.
