Join us for the final Catawba College Wind Ensemble concert of the year, on Monday, April 24 at 7:30 PM in Keppel Auditorium of the Robertson College-Community Center. 

The music featured incorporates ideas from several compositional styles, musical eras, and composer backgrounds as a way to approach a central theme: Reflect, Grow. We begin with a selection of chamber ensemble pieces of different instrumentations which were selected and rehearsed by student musicians as part of a new course this semester at Catawba in instrumental chamber music. 

This concert will also feature band students from West Stokes High School with their conductor, Mr. Will Nichols. Two works will be performed by a combined ensemble of students from West Stokes High School and the Catawba Wind Ensemble. The concert will conclude with three pieces for the Catawba Wind Ensemble, each offering a slightly different artistic point of view.   

We will also honor our senior band members and Dr. Barry Sang, who will be retiring at the end of this academic year. We hope to see you there!
