Cierra Short

Cierra Short is dedicated to student success and passionate about building meaningful relationships that create supportive learning environments where all students can thrive. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, she earned both her BA in Communications with a Business minor and her MAT in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

As a Student Success Coach, she draws from her own college experience and professional background to help students navigate their college journey with confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring new food spots, and playing with her puppy, Reese.
