Dr. Paul Baker, a professor of mathematics and computer science at Catawba College, attended the Southeastern Region Section Meeting of the Mathematical Association of America held in April at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee.
At the meeting Baker chaired a contributed session "Math Education"; made two presentations - "College Geometry Instruction Assisted by Geometer’s Sketchpad" and "Write Your Own Math Textbook"; and represented Catawba College at the meeting of MAA Liaisons and at the meeting of department chairs.
