We know GOOD CHANGE starts at home.
That’s why our Campus Master Plan includes several improvement projects to create the very best campus for our community. From the recently improved Center for the Environment and the newly renovated Shuford Science Labs to the ongoing transformation of a former coal-burning power plant to become a hub for student life — our vision is clear. We will create a Catawba College that will always foster discovery, curiosity, and growth.
WE’RE SHOOTING FOR ZERO. Catawba is The South’s first carbon-neutral campus. As we embark on this journey to transform and evolve our campus, it’s with the continued commitment to leading in sustainability and maintaining net zero greenhouse gas emissions. From installing a geoexchange heating and cooling system to embracing sustainable building practices, we’ll continue to be good stewards of the environment.
ACADEMICS, ARTS, ATHLETICS—WE’RE COVERING ALL THE BASES.
New and improved academic spaces for exploration and discovery. A fully renovated Newman Park baseball field and expansion of the Hayes Fieldhouse. Additional performing spaces and the creation of outdoor learning-living laboratories. Our campus improvements touch every aspect of the Catawba experience.
TOGETHER, WE WILL SHAPE THE FUTURE
Your investment in the Where Our Good Goes campaign will transform lives, strengthen our campus, and build a future full of possibilities for every student who steps through Catawba’s doors. The impact of your generosity will be felt today, tomorrow, and for generations to come. Together, we are building something greater than ourselves — where good truly goes far.
