Roommate Survey

Roommate requests are considered based on the completion of all application requirements, paid deposits and a request from each roommate. Roommate requests must be received by MAY 31st in order for the Office of Housing and Residence Life to consider your request.

NOTE to NEW Students: The Office of Housing and Residence Life regrets that it cannot make changes in residence hall or roommate preferences once a housing assignment has been made.  However, changes can occur after the 2nd full week of class through the Office of Housing and Residence Life.  Information provided on your housing application serves as a guide for assignment but does not guarantee specfic preference.  Where applicable, information is also collected from the coaching staff and taken into consideration for housing assignments.  All final room and roommate assignments are made by the Office of Housing and Residence Life.  All room and roommate assignments are made without regard to race, sexual preference, handicap and national or ethnic origin. Should demand for residence hall housing exceed room assignment capacity, the college reserves the right to utilize temporary, expanded housing pending assignment or relocation to a permanent living space.

Assignment letters are mailed beginning the last week of June to accepted and dposited students.  If you do not receive a letter by July 15th, please call the Office of Housing and Residence Life at (704) 637-4410. It is important that the student, not the parent or guardian, complete the housing application.
