Each year, the Lilly Center brings well-known speakers to campus for the Colloquium. The event is free and open to the public.

• Dr. Kurt Corriher (Spring 2013)
  The 10th annual Lilly Colloquium featured Catawba professor, author and actor, Dr. Kurt Corriher, who emphasized the importance of examining the artistic dimension of our lives. The colloquium keynote was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, in Omwake-Dearborn Chapel and was free and open to the public.

• Joe Ehrmann (Spring 2009)
  Former NFL Pro Joe Ehrmann, now an ordained minister, played professional football for 13 years and was selected as the Colts Man of the Year. Ehrmann followed his pro career by matriculating at Dallas Theological Seminary and Westminster Theological Seminary before being ordained in 1985.

• Leonard Pitts (Spring 2008)
  Leonard Pitts, Jr. is the winner of the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for commentary. Pitts' column runs every Monday and Friday in "The Miami Herald" and is syndicated nationally. "The Salisbury Post" frequently publishes his commentaries, so the journalist's work is well known in the Catawba College/Rowan County community.
