"First-Year Seminar gave all the first-year students a chance to know each other, and get comfortable here before being thrown in with the rest of the upperclassmen. It gave me a chance to find where I wanted to be.

First-Year Seminar may seem like that class the college is "forcing you to take," but it has been the favorite class I have had at Catawba. From making new friends to learning all that I did, I wouldn't change it even if I could."
