Catawba College’s Office of Career Services will present "The Art of Networking: Creating Your Own Personal Brand for Career Success" on Tuesday, April 26 at 5:00 p.m. in Room 201 of Ketner Hall on campus.

The guest speaker will be Lauren B. Scott, Employment Consultant and AVP with Branch Bank & Trust. Scott will be sharing tips on optimizing career possibilities, peer networks and professional perspective by learning the "Art of Networking."

Students will be able to learn more about networking through the key points of the presentation, which will include:

• Tapping into the power of networking to find the ideal job
• Approaching networked peers with the right attitude and mindset
• Getting in touch faster with the right people
• Attracting the ideal job faster
