Ms. Pamela Thompson, associate professor of business administration/information systems and chair of the Ketner School of Business at Catawba College, has had a paper accepted for oral presentation and publication at the upcoming Intelligent Agent Technology Conference. This international conference, slated Nov. 2-5 in Silicon Valley, Calif., is sponsored by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).

Thompson's paper is entitled "From Mining Tinnitus Database to Tinnitus Decision-Support System, Initial Study."

Thompson, a member of the Catawba faculty since 1991, earned both her bachelor's degree in management information systems and her M.B.A. from James Madison University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
