Dr. J. Michael Bitzer, assistant professor of political science at Catawba College, recently participated at the American Political Science Association’s annual conference in Washington, D.C.

He served as a discussant on two panels, one on “State Executive Branch Politics and Policymaking” and the other on “New Public Management: Democratization and Innovation.”
