Catawba's Green Pig Day is a special Open House and a great opportunity to explore Catawba's beautiful campus, meet with faculty and staff, and see all that Catawba has to offer. This is also "Catawba Cares Day," so you'll see our students, faculty and staff working together keep the campus beautiful!

A Great Time to Apply
It's NOT too late for you to turn in your application to Catawba. We will waive your $25 application fee when you turn it in to us on Green Pig Day. We will also accept any other admissions materials you bring, such as:

academic letter of recommendation
official SAT/ACT scores
official transcripts
essay

Seniors who turn in their completed application or bring outstanding materials will have their application reviewed that day for on-site admission. We hope to see you for Green Pig Day!

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

8:00am — Registration and Meet the Coaches
Peeler-Crystal Lounge, Robertson College Community Center
Welcome to Catawba's Green Pig Day! Enjoy the refreshment while you meet our coaches, students, and staff who are all eager to share what Catawba has to offer YOU!
9:50am — Welcome
Omwake-Dearborn Chapel
President Joseph Oxendine and Mrs. Lois Williams, Vice President of Enrollment would like to officially welcome you to Catawba College and review the day's events.
9:20am — Campus Tour
Catawba College Ambassadors are excited to lead you on a tour and share some of their Catawba experiences. As you walk the beautiful campus, ask yourself if you can imagine calling Catawba home.
10:25 am — Student's Only Session and Parent's Only Session
Peeler Crystal Lounge, Center for Environment, Room 300
- Students only! Students, it's time to show your Catawba Knowledge! Hint: Stay alert on tour!
- Parent's only! Time to ask questions without your student being present. Representatives from Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Academics, and a current Catawba parent who was recently in your shoes will be present to answer any questions that you have!
10:55am —Taste of Catawba Session
Ketner Hall, Various Classrooms

Sit in on a presentation by YOUR Admissions Counselor and learn more about the admissions process .
12:30pm — Lunch
Stanback Plaza, Leonard Lounge, Cannon Student Center
Enjoy a cookout with some of our faculty, staff, and students! Still have questions? Stick around after lunch and mingle with faculty, staff and students and get them answered!
1:30pm-until — Optional Tours
Meet by the flowerbed outside of the Cannon Student Center
