A reception was hosted by President and Mrs. Turner to welcome new students to Catawba. The students, who included both freshmen and transfer students, mingled and enjoyed cookies and punch and a southern favorite, cheese straws! Faculty and staff were also there to meet and chat with them about their classes, extracurricular activities, favorite professors etc..
