Just a quick note from Indonesia. I arrived safely on Thursday after first flying out on Tuesday. Guess what? It is hot here. I have been sweating pretty consistently for the past six days or so. On Tuesday, we'll be going to Malang, our base for the next three months of pre-service training. Supposedly it is 10 degrees cooler there. I'll be living with a host family while I continue to hopefully learn Bahasa Indonesia and teaching techniques. The 19 other trainees all seem really great; lots of differentexperiences. I will write more in depth sometime soon, but I wanted everyone to know I am alive and well.
