More than 50 people participated in the first of the 2008 Freshman Retreats held June 19-21 at John's River Camp. There was a lot of information shared in response to questions, concerns and hopes and dreams between faculty, staff and incoming students of the College. New students noted how special it was to be able to get to know other new students and also faculty and staff members who are available to them to assist as they make the transition to the college life. But the experience went far beyond this as students were challenged to think about what they can get out of the college experience and how their lives can benefit from it. Read more »
