As part of Catawba's Year of China programming, the Office of Student Affairs held a special event. Members of the Catawba Community were able to put their names on grains of rice, as well as participate in other activities including the Dragon Dance, Lion Dance, Kung Fu Demo, Chinese Calligraphy, Catawba Olympics (Ping Pong, pool, bocce, badminton, horseshoes, double shot basketball, shooting gallery, radar pitch), fun photos, and airbrush tattoos.
