Meet amanda
Amanda Sowards is a native of Concord, North Carolina. She is currently a junior at Catawba College pursuing a major in Communications and a minor in Dance. Amanda hopes to establish a career as a broadcast journalist for a major news network.
Amanda is an active Catawba cheerleader. She serves as the junior class Vice President for the Student Government Association. She volunteers her time with Wigwam Productions and is a student reporter for the Pioneer, Catawba's student newspaper.
Outside of school, Amanda is very involved with volunteering with in the surrounding communities. She helped found "Making a Difference Around the Corner and Around the World" which is an organization that helps with the efforts of alleviating poverty within North Carolina and in third world countries.
