Barb's family and friends were great! Her husband, Clay and two sons are so excited. We signed a special banner for Barb and spent lots of time greeting old and new friends. June Scobee (wife of Dick Scobee, Commander of Challenger Mission 51L), Sunni Williams, who broke the record for the longest duration in space aboard the International Space Station in June 2007, and members of NASA's education family were all present to celebrate the upcoming flight.
Excitement is intensifying! We must wait another 48 hours! Our hopes are high that the launch will go as scheduled Wedensday evening.
