Catawba College Junior Dan Ryan of Westborough, Mass., is traveling with the lacrosse team in England and Ireland this summer. While there, Dan and teammates will play several games in London, Liverpool and Dublin.
Dan, who is pursuing a major in music education at Catawba, has agreed to share his experiences during this trip through several postings on Catawba’s website called "Lacrosse Team in Great Britain."
A defensive player on the lacrosse team, Dan is very involved in activities on Catawba's campus. He is incoming president of the Dead Athenian Society (DAS), a Catawba Ambassador (student tour guide) and active in the Alpha program. He is a member of the Catawba Singers and Madrigals, and active in the Music Educators Society. He also serves as a mentor to middle school students at Knox Middle School in Salisbury.
