Brittany Parker of Mt. Ulla, N.C., is a Catawba College student who has decided to major in Environmental Education, a new major added at the institution beginning in the 2007-2008 academic year. Raised on a dairy farm that just recently converted to organic, she has always been involved in agriculture and active in the Future Farmers of America organization (FFA). She will share her thoughts on her chosen field of study through occasional blogs which will be posted here on Catawba’s website.
