1. Is it required that students live on campus at Catawba?

All students under the age of 23 must live on campus and participate in the meal plan. Students may move off campus starting the academic year in which they turn 23. Exemptions are made for students who:

• are married or
• live with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s)

Residential students wanting to move off campus should complete an Application for Off-Campus Living, available in the Residence Life Office. Approximately 70% of Catawba's students live on campus, lending to a more fulfilling college experience.

2. Are Freshman allowed to have cars at your school?

Yes, freshmen are allowed to have cars on campus, and there is no additional fee.

3. Can you explain your meal plans?

There are three choices for meal plans:

• 21 meals a week
• 15 meals a week and 50 points for the semester
• 10 meals a week and 100 points for the semester

Points may be purchased in addition to the meal plans above.
(Points are the same as cash that you can use at our campus grill.)

4. What is the number of undergraduate students attending Catawba?

Catawba currently has approximately 1,350 ungraduate students attending for the 2007-2008 academic year.

5. What kinds of student activities are offered?

There are many opportunities for student involvement and entertainment at Catawba College. Not only do we have student clubs and organizations that vary by interests and activities, we also have Wigwam Productions which sponsors many fun and exciting events.
