We invite you to join us on Cheerwine Day for a fun-filled day of getting to know Catawba. Area high school students are invited to get a "Taste" of Catawba College and to really "drink in" Catawba's culture.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect to our wonderful faculty and feel what it is like to experience a college class, as well as see, hear, touch, smell, and even taste unique aspects of Catawba College as they participate in the day's events:

9:00-9:45am — Registration and meet the coaches
Peeler Crystal Lounge, Robertson College-Community Center
Welcome to Catawba! We are so glad you are here. Please enjoy the refreshments and try a Cheerwine while mingling with our staff and coaches who are all eager to welcome YOU to campus.
9:45-10:00am — Welcome
Omwake-Dearborn Chapel
Catawba's Provost, Dr. Rick Stephens, and our Vice President of Enrollment, Mrs. Lois Williams, would like to officially welcome you to Catawba College and review the day's events.
10:00-10:45am — Campus Tour
It's time to see all that Catawba's campus has to offer YOU! Could you see yourself here as a student? As you tour campus, imagine walking to class with your new friends or playing Frisbee on the lawn. Does Catawba College feel like home to you?
10:50-11:50am — A Taste of Catawba Information Sessions
Center for the Environment, Shuford Science Building
Meet with the Academic Schools (Business, Education, Pre-Professional, Performing Arts, Arts and Sciences), Parent Panel, Student Panel, "Show Me the Money," "Catawba Life," Athletics, etc.
12:00-12:30pm — Meet your Admissions Counselor
Hedrick Administration Building
12:30-1:30pm — Tailgate Party
Stanback Plaza, Cannon Student Center
- "Grab a Dog Before the Game" — Enjoy some pre-game goodies with the Admissions Team and the Vice President of Enrollment. Don't forget to have a Cheerwine Float for dessert!
- "Catch the Excitement" — Catch the fun of tailgating with games and prizes!
1:30pm — OPTIONAL Tours
Theater Facility — Meet by the benches in grassy area by Stanback Plaza
Athletic Facilities — Meet in the Abernethy Quad.
7:00pm — It's Game Time: Catawba vs. Newberry College
Shuford Stadium
We invite you to return to Catawba's campus for kickoff at 7pm! The lights are on, the stadium is full, and it is time to cheer on YOUR Catawba Indians! LET'S GO CATAWBA!

Also, the Catawba Bookstore will be open 10am-2pm and 4pm-7pm and will have a stand at the stadium during the game, so feel free to drop by to gear up and "Get Your Blue On!"
