2011 UPDATE: The 2011 Duck Draw raised $3,500 to be used to buy materials for the Thanksgiving meals. Thanks to these successful results, the Duck Draw has raised money since its inception to provide holiday meals for 1000 families.

To date, we have provided 1000 families with Thanksgiving meals.

Each year, the Residence Life staff collects $1 donations to sponsor a duck to be floated in a pool in the Stanback Plaza. At that time, a number of ducks are drawn randomly and the sponsor for that duck receives a prize. Our local merchants are extremely generous and have consistently provided more than 150 prizes each year.

During the collection process, Resident Assistants visiti offices, residence halls and community members to collect donations. Please consider sponsoring a duck for the next Duck Draw and help us make this Thanksgiving dinner drive as successful as each of the previous years.
