Technical Support personnel are charged with the research, development, deployment, and maintenance associated with the personal computing and telephony infrastructure on campus, including hardware, software, and peripherals. They provide customer service and technical support to all Catawba faculty, staff, and students via the help desk. This group also develops customer training, documentation, and online tutorials.
Instructional Support personnel focus on working with faculty and academic departments to develop and enhance technology solutions that support teaching, learning, and research. They support the use of computer and presentation technology in classroom and meeting facilities across campus.
