She has worked on the Disney Magic, where she became a Youth Activities Entertainment Host. Her position has taken her to the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans. 2011 Catawba alumna Katie Haeuser was cast as Beatrice in an off-Broadway production of "Much Ado about Nothing, " opening in January 2012 at the American Theater for Actors. "The department is a family, and every person gets amazing opportunities to learn and grow in all aspects of the theatre. I was able to dabble in performance, design, and other technical aspects of the theatre. I've most definitely grew in my abilities and as a person."
