West Teaching Scholars Catawba's West Scholars

The first cohort of 14 West Scholars entered Catawba College as first-year students in the fall of the 2007-2008 academic year. These students, who came to Catawba from both inside and outside of the State of North Carolina demonstrated leadership, community involvement and a strong commitment to teaching. Each of them also completed a special application for this scholarship program.
