Students seeking special subject (grades K-12) teacher licensure in Music must satisfy the requirements for the B.A.degree with a concentration in Music Education and for undergraduate teacher licensure (including the Special Subject Area Minor) outlined under the
heading for the Department of Teacher Education.

| The Sacred Music Concentration is designed to prepare the student as a performer and choral director, and to acquaint the student with
the methods and materials needed to implement a church music program. For students pursuing this concentration, the primary performance
