2006 graduate Dennis Reed and current Catawba Young Artist in Residence Dennis Reed and members of his nonprofit organization Inspire the Fire performed on the final night of the Democratic National Convention, September 6th. They shared the stage with Carolina music legend James Taylor in what the DNC described as a "tribute to the dynamic convention host state."
