One of the hottest events of the year!
The Ralph W. Ketner School of Business hosted its Inaugural Chili Cook Off on October 1, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00pm. The event took place in Ketner Hall on campus. Judging was announced at 4:30pm.

About the Cook Off
Whether you want to COOK and COMPETE or you just want to EAT, you are bound to have a whole lot of FUN!! General admission is $10, which includes chili samples, complimentary water and soft drinks.

A People's Choice Award is presented based on a general public vote for the favorite chili.

The registration fee for teams of up to five members to enter the Cook Off is just $20. The deadline to register was September 27, 2011. Contact Angelia Bates at (704) 637-4223 or asbates@catawba.edu with questions or for more information. The complete cook off rules are listed below.
- GOLD LEVEL: $500
Name on the event banner (registration by September 16 required for banner), name recognition on all press releases, company logo on all event flyers and any printed media, and 12 complimentary tickets.
- SILVER LEVEL: $250
Name recognition on all press releases, company logo on all event flyers, and eight complimentary tickets.
- BRONZE LEVEL: $100
Name recognition on all press releases and four complimentary tickets.
Sponsorships include one team registration of up to 5 members.
